This sailboat is perfect for small trips in semi-protected waters. It will also be a good choice if you plan to make weekend trips. It is possible to sleep two persons under the front deck and even more people can sleep on board if the open cockpit is used. The rig can be made various ways. A 2-3 HP outboard can be placed on the transom or in a well and used when there is no wind or for difficult manoeuvres.

The Sea Scout can be build from one sheet of 12 mm, nine sheets of 9 mm and eight sheets of 6 mm plywood. It is a building project that will take a good amount of time to build, but I think the hull should be possible to build in 2-3 weeks. The weight of the boat will be approximately 250-270 kg.
